character creation
Jun. 28th, 2021 05:43 pmMy six-year-old son is doing what one does when one first creates a fictional character.
She's a superhero.
And a wildlife ranger, who loves animals.
And talks to animals.
And has special wrist communicator gauntlets that help her talk to animals.
And infernal blast powers for attacking baddies.
And radiant shield powers.
And also the radiant shield powers can be used to heal her.
And she's a gymnast.
An OLYMPIC gymnast.
And she's won all the medals of gymnastics.
Pretty soon I reckon she's going to have purple eyes and glossy hair.

Date: 2021-07-04 12:48 am (UTC)I was puzzled though, because a lot of the stuff I put in those proto-stories were bits & pieces I'd picked up in classes. Okay so I wasn't 'learning' them, and I certainly didn't remember enough of them when tests & exams came around, but I was using them! ;-)
Which reminds me, I did have Purple hair at one time (did not go down well at work) and my eyes did gloss over a lot when I drifted of into my own world...
