Just looked up Galaxy Quest, and it WAS. How did I not know this?

Heh, even the most dedicated trivial pursuers can only know so much. I think I learned that factoid at some point after I'd seen him in both Buffy and GQ. Like Alan Rickman, Sachs brings a gravity to the role under an even more ridiculous burden of makeup. And I howl every time I lip-read Sigourney's actual line when confronted with the hallway full of choppy crushy things.

Exactly. I started watch Buffy for Giles.

Although, I admit I did start to fall for Spike in S5 and S6.
But S1-4, yep. And there was a little while in there that I thought Angel was...hot. (S1-2) Before the actor got puffy.

Also, I saw the actor, ASH (who plays Giles) on stage, he's amazing, and in the 1980s. He was hot in the 1980s and 1990s.
