Just turned down a really nice job opportunity because it would make my son too parent-deprived.

On the positive side, I was just offered a really nice job. People think I'm hireable!

...still. Right now, this somewhat sucks.

I applied, not sure how much work it'd be, and then decided it sounded like too much.

...and then I turned them down, and they said "Too much work? How about doing less work for us? Pretty please?", and I said yes. :)

That'd be great, but no. It's a tender writing job - part-time in the CBD - on a 3-month contract. The husband will go part-time too (temporarily) so that the kidlet has enough supervision.

Nice that you can both split time so bub doesn't have to go to childcare. Also, bonus daddy time, always a good thing.:)
