deird1Just once, I'd like to have a tv show where the protagonist's parents were horribly murdered by a killer who was never found...
...and then, the killer is NEVER EVER found. And it STAYS as a tragic piece of backstory rather than being spun out across several seasons as a giant conspiracy.
