Pretty pictures!

Day 71:

A nice piece of Australian countryside.

I took this picture out the window of a train, on the way back to Melbourne. If you look closely, you can see the reflection of the book being read by the man sitting in front of me.

Day 72:

This cake was made by [livejournal.com profile] klme, for Nathan's dedication at church.

She's extremely good at making cakes. I feel rather incompetent by comparison...

Day 73:

The prettiest pillowcases in all the land!

Note how one is the inverse of the other, colour-wise. This could have something to do with me being indecisive, and not sure which way would look better.

Day 74:

Two lovely people have given me jewellery this year. These are the two necklaces I was given.

If you want me to really love you? Give me a pretty necklace. It never fails.

Day 75:

This is a street I cross every day.

I took this photo from my office, looking down 13 floors.

Day 76:

A whole lot of mushy green stuff, disguised by tomatoey creaminess and cheese.

Not the most exciting photo in the world, but hey - I was proud.

Day 77:

These flowers used to be in my bedroom, and are still there.

...or rather, they used to be in my bedroom at home with my parents, and now that I've moved out and have a different bedroom, the flowers are in the room that used to be my bedroom.

I was visiting Mum and Dad, and got suddenly nostalgic.

Love your work with the pillow-cases! Will have to have a geeky sewing closer inspection when next I visit

Pride compels me to point out that the writing on the cake was supposed to be fine white chocolate but the humidity disallowed that. And then when I wrote the name in yellow it was actually very fine lines and looked a lot better. When I got up the next day it had run and wobbled all over the place like that. Boo. Stupid humidity. Aaron tells me it looks 'home-made'. Hmm.
Also the view looking down freaked me out!! Funny how heights do that. I also never picture you working up so high - my mind thinks of you working in an office one level below ground actually!

That's a lovely cake - and I like your train widow picture - really peaceful. Your cushions and your dinner both look most accomplished. But the view from your office would give me vertigo!

Pretty cake! I like the stars. Nice calm view from the train window but the look out from your office is a little unsettling. It's not the height, maybe it's the the angle. The flowers, the necklaces and your homemade pillowcases give a little picture of you!
