wonderful movie that I must own
Jan. 23rd, 2011 08:00 pmI saw The King's Speech today. It was excellent.
Colin Firth has this marvellous ability to angst silently at the camera until you're simply aching for him to get whatever it is he's wishing for. One minute in, he hadn't said a word, but I was already wanting to offer him chocolate, a puppy, and just about anything else that would make him feel better...
I saw it at Crown Casino Gold Class, with the boyfriend. (For out-of-towners: Crown Casino is very flashy, as well as being rather maze-like. Gold Class is the really expensive version of going to the movies, where they give you reclining seats and serve you food during the movie. Quite fun.)
