My health insurance company just rang me up to say "Oh, by the way, you haven't been covered for anything since November. Want to make a payment?"

This is the first I've heard of it. At all.

You'd think they'd remind me to make a payment before I spend two months without coverage...

I feel ya, I slipped through the cracks for MONTHS and then I suddenly received a bill for SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS. It was hell to clear up.
