A further complication is that this isn't our garden. It's someone else's. And we can go tell the gardener that there's a corner full of weeds, but when the gardener either stares at us and says "What weeds?" or pats us on the head and says, "You're mistaken, little lady, those are flowers," then we're pretty much stuck.
