One day I will have my female cat called Minerva, dammit.

But for now, he's very cute, very purry, and his name is Felix because I am a total Latin nerd.

Apparently I was too sad to post about it!

Elf died about two months ago. It wasn't at all surprising (long, drawn out illness), but it was still rather sad.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear it. He was the most amazingly big boofy ragdoll of a cat, such a sweetheart. He was the one who climbed into your lap and insisted you adopt him, yes? Does Felix have a similar story? :-)

That was Elf, yes. :)

Felix was in the shelter's "quiet room", with a bunch of older cats. (All the other kittens were in the noisy room next door.) I saw him, and instantly decided I didn't need to check out any of the other kittens. He was lovely.
