Took a while to decide...

Frasier. One of the cleverer sitcoms I've ever encountered.

There aren't many shows out there that "everyone" could watch, really. My favourite shows tend to be sci-fi - which my mother can only eye dubiously. Her favourite shows tend to be British sitcoms from the late 80s - which my friends don't see the appeal of.

But so far, I've only ever met one person who didn't enjoy Frasier.

...and I really have no more to say about it. Except to express my profound horror that the clip above (of Frasier suddenly breaking into "Great Balls of Fire") wasn't included on the DVD. Shame, DVD manufacturers, shame. *shakes head disapprovingly*

This show is funny, it's clever, it's frequently heartwarming, and it's short enough that if you do hate it, you've only wasted 20 minutes of your life.
Go watch it.

I know this is a year and a half after you posted this, but whatever.

Anyway, the reason that Frasier singing Great Balls of Fire wasn't on the DVD was probably because of music copyright laws. They have to license the use on the TV show and the use on the DVDs separately, which can lead to songs on DVDs either being edited out of the DVD, as in Frasier, or being dubbed over, as happened at least once in the DVDs of The Mical\lef P(r)ogram(me).

Anyway, I thought I should say this so that you know to blame the music industry rather than the poor, innocent DVD manufacturers.
