Am currently experiencing a bout of nausea. Every time that I go to say that I feel nauseous, Josie Gellar frowns at me and says "Nauseated. You feel nauseated." and I hastily amend my grammar.

It's so frequently misused that one begins to believe that the incorrect usage is correct.

I can never remember which one is the one you're supposed to use, and when I have cause to say such things at all I'm generally in too much pain to care.
