ridiculous show
Jan. 6th, 2011 09:08 pmI've just been watching the episode of Dawson's Creek in which:
- Dawson films a movie of his life.
- Dawson, the sixteen year old, writes his autobiography and films it for the world to see.
- Dawson rewrites his autobiography with better dialogue - so that "it's just lipstick" becomes "it's just... cosmetic enhancement".
- The actress portraying Joey in the movie follows Joey around and copies her every action to get into the part.
- Angst. And more angst. And yet more angst. And the most self-indulgent movie ever written by a teenager.
It's an over-the-top, ridiculous, soap-opera-ry, crap piece of pop television. And it's SO VERY FUN.

We're not even up to the good seasons yet...
