gambling away my (fake) life-savings

Last night, I won $4000 at a (fake) Roulette wheel!
And then I won $6000!
And then I lost everything!
Roulette is fun. Even when it's (fake) Roulette.
This was at a friend's birthday party. His family is into EVENTS - and this year's EVENT was a 1920's themed party, with a fake gambling den set up in the backyard. We could play as much blackjack and Roulette as we liked, and the biggest winner of the night would get a magnificent plastic trophy to take home!
Being a shy person, I rather approve of parties where there are things to do. And it turns out – Roulette? really fun.
(TV always made it look like you put all your money on one specific number, and I always thought that was boring, because your number's never going to win. But as it turns out, TV was lying to me, and you can bet on one number, or four, or twelve, or all the black numbers, or all the numbers under 18, or almost anything. Which makes it rather interesting.)
Unfortunately, any future attempts to play Roulette would probably involve actual casinos with real money. Which I'm not going to do. So... *shrugs*
