disorganised fretting

Accidentally left my wallet at work.
It is really disconcerting getting in your car to go to a doctor's appointment and thinking "I can't pay. I can't go to the bank and get out money so I can give them cash. I can't show them my driver's license to prove that I am honest and coming back to pay. If I crash on the way to the doctor, I can't show the police my driver's license. If I crash and wind up unconscious in hospital, they won't be able to go through my wallet to find out who I am..."
Ah well. At least I can get it back tomorrow.

Date: 2012-10-22 04:35 pm (UTC)But I did the same thing you did... thinking of all the things that could go wrong before I got home to retrieve the rest of my regular wallet stuff. I did, at least, have the comfort of knowing I had that one credit card and that it even happened to have my photo on it. But still... it's so disconcerting!
