Screw it. As of tomorrow, I'm bringing in my laptop and using my work hours to look for a new job. At least that will be more productive than just sitting here.

...you can't talk to your manager about this and explaint to them that you have nothing to do and while this sounds awesome, is actually very frustrating?
Maybe then they can help. I'd give them a chance to fix things before you go looking for another job.

Bugger. Sounds like they just don't care. And, like to waste their money on a non-productive employee. Easier to keep you there and quietly bored doing nothing, than find you actual work to do? :-/
