deird1I have the most wonderful father in the world, I really do.
I often forget that - he's not always around, and we're not very good at talking to each other, and there are some ways in which we just don't click.
But then, when something goes wrong, he'll swoop in and be all strong and stern and wonderful, and stand there saving you until all the problems go away. (They always do. My dad is JUST THAT AWESOME and good at everything ever. Seriously.)
In a crisis, there are few people I'd rather have by my side.
I really do love him enormously.
