what I did this week

Even more photos! (Getting sick of them yet?)
Day 57:

This is my chocolate pudding, from last week.
dr_carrot and I ate it together. Mine's the one with ice-cream, but she didn't want ice-cream, and decided to have a drink of milk instead. There's really no way to have chocolate pudding without something white and dairyish.
Day 58:

Observe my tidy laundry!
I've spent years putting all my random laundry stuff on the top of the washing machine, and letting it rattle around on top... and occasionally fall off the side. Now, though, I have a really funky set of shelves from Ikea. (Hurrah Ikea!)
Day 59:

I walk past this window every week.
This is the local op shop - with lovely wedding dresses. It always has lovely wedding dresses.
Two doors down is a high-class shop full of very expensive wedding dresses. Personally, I think the op shop ones are prettier.
Day 60:

My housemate and her fiance.
I was trying to take a photo by stealth - snuck up from the side, peered quietly around the door - but she noticed me coming...
Day 61:

These are my fancy tea cups. Not ones I'd actually drink out of - they just look pretty.
The day I bought them, I opened them in a room with slate floors. Then... I dropped one, smashed it into a few thousand pieces, burst out laughing at how ridiculous it was, and promptly went out and bought another one.
It's hard to see here, but they're all different, each with a different kind of flower and a different animal: a butterfly, a ladybird, a frog, a dragonfly, and so forth.
Day 62:

Last night I went to drinks and then dinner in the city. This is where we went between the drinks and the dinner.
It's in the middle of the city, in the middle of a shopping centre. The grass is plastic, but the plants are real. Apparently it's a "community shopping garden". There are lots of signs all over the place saying:
There are also heaps of other signs and drawings all over the garden. As far as I can tell, there's a primary school class coming, leaving drawings of the plants, and watering everything.
It was the nicest place to sit and talk. I'd really like to have a picnic there one day.
Day 63:

The prostitute pasta!
...minus the pasta, clearly. This is how it looks while it's cooking.

Planted for you to pick!
These plants are here for you to enjoy.
We invite you to pick some and take them home to try in your next dish.
Respect and care for them as you would your own garden.
There are also heaps of other signs and drawings all over the garden. As far as I can tell, there's a primary school class coming, leaving drawings of the plants, and watering everything.
