When getting your new couch (because it would be the best thing to buy yourself), do take care to choose it properly after a good long trial-sitting.
Unlike my friend who bought one after thinking it was comfy to sit on in the store, only to find once home, that after about ten minutes it got very, very uncomfortable, with bits digging in etc. Not fun.
So yes- take a book, and sit for half an hour or so, so you know how it'll feel when you're sitting on it at home, 'normally'... :-) My friend would tell you it's definitely worth it!
And then, buy chocolate to enjoy eating while on the couch. After buying a nice throwrug with which to protect your couch from chocolate and catfur.
