So my professional editing society sent out a call asking for people to present at a writers conference. It is called GenreCon.

They'll pay for the presentation, but not pay for the travel costs. So I'd be spending more money getting there and back than I'd get for presenting. But it's called GENRECON. Oh please, GenreCon, let me pay you all my money so I can present things at your conference!

...I have sent them an email. We shall see.

My kids have activities! And hobbies! And social lives!

So much easier when they were stuck in a pram. :)

Hah. I'm too anti-social- mine have activities and hobbies at home, and no social life unless it's school holidays. Then, I spend days on end ferrying the older ones back and forth to umpteen playdates/ sleepovers. ;-)
