deird1For those of you keeping track, the husband has been in Detroit for the last couple of weeks, on business. Today, I got two phonecalls from him.
Call 1: "Hi! It looks like I'm going to be home on Saturday! Looking forward to seeing you!"
Call 2: "So, you know how I need a negative Covid test to get on the plane? Yeah…"
The husband is stuck in Detroit. In a hotel. With Covid. And I am on the other side of the world, still taking care of two kids, still powerless to help.
(Yes, he has been vaccinated. So here's hoping.)
