so I was bored...
Aug. 30th, 2015 02:04 pmBeing in a rather silly mood, I thought I'd classify each of the Farscape characters by their alignment and class.
...so. That happened.
Crichton - Chaotic Good Bard
Crichton breathes chaos - so the alignment was pretty obvious. As for the character class: he's very into persuasion, negotiation, and trickery. He'll fight if he has to, but he'd rather look for a clever way around a problem.
Aeryn - Lawful Good Fighter
By nature, she'd be a very ethical soldier. She's much more used to following the rules than Crichton ever would be.
D'Argo - Neutral Good Paladin
Less lawful than Aeryn - but what he lacks in rules he makes up for in HONOUR. He's very concerned about truth, justice, and being an "ally".
Zhaan - Lawful Good Cleric
...obviously.
Rygel - Lawful Neutral Rogue
Neutral because he's amoral; lawful because he'd prefer to operate within the rules of society than without - he's a gambler and embezzler more than a pickpocket; rogue because duh.
Chiana - Chaotic Neutral Rogue
Where Rygel finds tricksy ways around the rules, Chiana fails to acknowledge that rules exist at all.
Pilot - True Neutral ...something
I cannot for the life of me come up with a class for Pilot. Or for the Leviathans.
Moya - Neutral Good ...spaceship
Pilot fails on the "good" because of how he came to Moya; Moya herself appears to be extremely good.
Crais - Chaotic Neutral Fighter
Crais was never a by-the-rules Peacekeeper in the same way as Aeryn or Braca. But he's still a Peacekeeper, so fighter it is.
Scorpius - Neutral Evil Bard
He's a bard for much the same reason as Crichton: he's into tricks, coercion, and finding people's emotional weakspots.
Harvey - Chaotic Evil Bard
While Scorpius is Neutral, Harvey has absorbed an awful lot of Crichton's Chaotic side. Hence the weird outfits and pop-culture references.
Stark - Chaotic Neutral Cleric
It's Stark. How could he be anything else?
Talyn - Neutral Evil ...spaceship
Evil because he goes around blowing things up at random, and how else do you classify that? But really I just want to give him lots of big hugs.
Jool - True Neutral Druid
She's a scientist, and druid seems to fit well. And she's so ridiculously true neutral.
Noranti - Chaotic Good Druid
Chaotic... duh. Druid... also duh. Good because she really is trying to work for people's benefit, pretty much constantly.
Sikozu - Lawful Neutral Ranger
Yet another person who, like Rygel, wants to discover the rules and then manipulate them to her benefit.
Braca - Lawful Evil Fighter
Evil because he's more interested in supporting Scorpius than in anything else, and because he's got a perfect evil-guy smirk happening.
...so. That happened.

Date: 2015-08-30 08:52 am (UTC)Crais as I can see it changes around a lot on the spectrum - he's initially Lawful Evil as a Peacekeeper, becomes Chaotic Evil in "That Old Black Magic", and then becomes True Neutral (by his own self-identification) in S2-3.

Date: 2015-08-30 11:44 pm (UTC)What would you class 1812 as?

Date: 2015-08-31 01:30 am (UTC)(The classes are also from roleplaying: your classic fantasy team will have fighters, to fight; rogues, to steal and pick locks; mages, to cast spells; clerics, to be terribly spiritual and heal people; and a variety of other smaller classes like paladins, bards, druids, and rangers.)
Personally, I'd say 1812 is a neutral good, like Moya.

Date: 2015-08-31 11:04 pm (UTC)...it all reminds me of WoW (and back to DnD of course), with the different classes. (Btw Druids in Warcraft beat everyone hands-down. :-))
