Date: 2014-07-23 10:44 am (UTC)The rug you made for our bub is still a constant source of 'ooh' by visitors, and the bub loves to pick it up and carry it around now, hide things under it, etc. :-)
Only being kicked awake at 3am? Bahahahaha....oh you poor thing. Just wait until that happens, AND you're up every two hours needing to pee. It's such fun.
(and btw, the 'once bub is out' is such a lovely notion, but I think you'll probably find that in the first few weeks, you'll be fervently wishing the little wailing puking peeing pooing screaming non-sleeping-at-1am always-hungry thing were still inside you and QUIET and not needing you 24/7, and also cursing the other things that birth and milk coming in is doing to your body.... ;-) Then again, you may have wonderful first weeks, which would be lovely. I wish that for you. :-) )
