Date: 2014-02-27 11:52 pm (UTC)- weaving: right there with ya- would love a big loom on which to learn to weave. :-)
- don't you fight with other staff every day? Ahaha. If you mean the martial arts, take up Kendo. Friend of mine's hubby does it. Lots of running towards each other yelling, and whacking staves. Funfun.
-helicopter. Jetpack would be more fun, though helicopter could be useful for dramatic escapes from disasters.
- how do you mean 'traditional' fabric dyeing? We've dyed clothes before in a pot, using colours...
hot-wiring. Hehe. Mmm, I hear it doesn't work as well with modern cars. Pity.
-knife throwing: circus, or ninja-style?
-embroidery: You don't already? Wow. Given how quickly you pick up new crafts, this one should be a cinch.
- erm....I usually draw with a pencil, what do you use?
-Spanish: go for it. then you can understand the police shows where there's always 'no hablo inglese' people. :-)

Date: 2014-02-28 12:50 am (UTC)I mean without commerical pre-mixed dyes. I can do that, but I'd love to know how to dye things using stuff culled from the garden...

Charcoal. :)
I've done life drawing, which used charcoal. We were taught how to draw shades and use those to represent shapes. Works quite well for people.
But now, I'd like to learn how to make individual, defined lines look like objects. I find that somewhat trickier.
