dumb show... making me logic at it...
Nov. 22nd, 2017 08:51 amThis dumb kids show is annoying me because it makes no sense.
Admittedly, all kids shows mostly make no sense. But still...
Let me explain. This show is called Bananas in Pyjamas. Its main characters are two anthropomorphic bananas (dumb but loveable), three teddy bears (sensible and kind of annoying), and a rat (tricks people into giving him honeycakes).
A common plotline: Rat tricks the Bananas into giving him honeycakes! The Bananas tell the Teddies why they're giving Rat all their honeycakes. The Teddies know it's a trick. They all trick Rat back! Rat apologises, and gives back all the honeycakes.
Dumb, but fine.
In this particular episode, though, Rat tricks the Bananas (and the Teddies) into thinking he has a wishing well. You can wish for something and throw honeycakes down the wishing well (and Rat will sneakily fish them out again), and your wish will come true!
They all find out. And decide to trick Rat back - by pretending that it's a real wishing well, and making Rat admit that he was tricking them.
So far, so bland, so good.
When they all think it's real: The Bananas wish for gold-coloured pyjamas. And one of the Teddies wishes for red ballet shoes.
When they trick Rat back: The Bananas didn't really get magical gold-coloured pyjamas from the wishing well! They painted their pyjamas gold to trick Rat! And Lulu didn't really get red ballet shoes from the wishing well! She painted her ballet shoes red to trick Rat!
And he admits to the trick, and apologises. And he has to give all the honeycakes back - and also take all the paint off the pyjamas and the ballet shoes.
BUT! They wanted their pyjamas gold and their ballet shoes red! They really did! So once they've got them... WHY ARE THEY TAKING THE PAINT OFF?????
It makes no SENSE!!!!!
