The Mezzanine

We had a thing in the US last Thursday called The Sound of Music LIVE!, which was Carrie Underwood (of American Idol fame) and Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill on True Blood and irritates the hell out of me) did The Sound of Music. It was a big deal, and NBC got the highest ratings on a Thursday night since ER's finale. Anyway, one of the snarkier articles I read about it started with "Carrie Underwood is kind of like the Julie Andrews of country music said NO ONE EVER!"

And that's what I thought of when I read this post. My mom feels like you, because she loves Carrie Underwood.
