*hugs* to Elf. I hope he'll be okay soon. I can see why he'd be upset though...how long was Smudge there? He probably can't remember a time without him!
Our girl piggies, meh, their friends come and gom they adjust surprisingly well...I think they looked for Boris for a few days after he died, and now are all normal.
The boys though...take his little brother away, and poor Kimba squeaks his heart out and runs around in confused circles not knowing what to do, until he comes back. Then he has to stick close and not let him disappear again. And sit close to me, just in case. I've never seen the like. :-)
