Date: 2011-03-29 08:58 pm (UTC)This appears at least tangentially related to cinnamon toast, the main difference being that cinnamon toast is.. well, toasted, and has cinnamon sugar instead of sprinkles.
Yum. Gotta try that.

Fairy bread was certainly a staple of every kids' party I ever attended, along with fairy cakes, cordial, chocolate crackles, and jelly...

Date: 2011-03-30 08:12 pm (UTC)Anyway, I think I prefer my version... 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 16 oz of Cool Whip, and powdered sugar to taste, blended together and spread on whatever's handy. It's like the ultimate frosting/fruit-dip/spread/cake filling mixture.
