I just got back from spending a day with
immer_am_lesen, who feeds me yummy food and watches Stargate with me.
So, on to the photos...
Day 64:

This is Alex, on a ride at the Knox festival. He was so excited about being in the helicopter.
Day 65:

Smudge the cat.
It took me nearly ten minutes to get a photo of him that wasn't just a bit of his tail disappearing off the side of the picture.
Day 66:

Here is a traditional Melburnian tram, waiting to take people around the city.
Most of our trams look a bit more modern than this, but this one is a City Circle tram. It does the same loop of the city, all day, with a recorded voice pointing out all the interesting sites to tourists. It's free!
I was rather worried it would leave before I got my camera out.
Day 67:

This candelabra was a present from my sisters, for my 21st.
I love it. It's so funky and old fashioned and gothic.
Day 68:

Choc-chip cookie slab, as related in this week's recipe post. Each biscuit should have ended up about a quarter of the size it is.
Day 69:

This is Ellie - the dog of some friends from church.
Every time I go over to their house, I forget to put on jeans, wear my very-staticky work pants, and get dog hair ALL OVER them.
Day 70:

And for the third random pet of the week... a very pretty rabbit.
Her bottom looks rather strange because it had to be trimmed back. It still feels soft and lovely, though.

Date: 2011-03-13 12:31 am (UTC)Did you use chunks of chocolate, or did the chocolate melt a lot? Only, American chips tend to be rather smaller than that.

Date: 2011-03-16 12:48 am (UTC)Yay Gwen! She looks prettier from the front, I think. More floofy. Her butt fur will grow back, don't worry. It already looks a lot better than after I first chopped it!
She's losing a lot of her longer fluffy fur in her daily brushing, so will look lovely and less 'mangy' soon, I hope. Just in time for Winter, which confuses me.
Let me see if posting a link to a pic here works...
