I was holding him, and he asked (in that totally-interested voice that little kids tend to use) "Do you have a baby in your tummy?"
"No," I said. "I don't."
He looked slightly puzzled, and asked "Then why do you have these things?"
O.O
What exactly is the best response to that?
I went with "Because I'm a lady," which confused the poor boy immensely. While he started formulating possible new questions about this, I put him down and quickly started doing something else.
I'm actually fairly practised at Embarrassing Questions From Nephews That Must Be Answered With A Straight Face - but it's much harder to think when a three year old is poking at your boobs and looking fascinated...
