deird1: Aang and Zuko standing back-to-back (Aang Zuko)

how does this not exist already?

There should be an AtLA RPG. (A tabletop RPG, I mean. I don't care about the other kind.)

Seriously - it would be so interesting! And fun!

You could have pre-series campaigns with a couple of Air Nomad refugees fleeing the Fire Nation and meeting up with an earthbender.

Or a post-series campaign with border clashes between the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation colonies, with the party having to work out the solution.

Or a pre-war campaign with some firebenders teaming up with some airbenders to explore some exciting archaeological caverns.

Or try to get around the Dai Li.

Or do a dungeon crawl through King Bumi's exciting maze of wonders, in which every single wonder wants to kill you.

Or almost anything.

Wouldn't it be fun?

Do it with either BESM or the Exalted system! :D :D :D

I would SO play that.

I haven't played BtVS, but Exalted is a White Wolf system that handles elemental powers really well. Strip off the world they provide, and you could have all your Benders be Terrestrial Exalts, who are each aspected to a single element.. (you might have to ignore the Wood element, but eh..) and the Avatar could be run as an Eclipse-caste Solar. :3

Have you told our friend with the game shop about your idea? :-)

This is sort of like that:

I have nothing to do with the project beyond wanting to run it for the 8 and 9 year olds of my acquaintance.

:O I would play the shit out of that and I have never been interested in tabletop gaming.

Awesome idea! :D

(And if anyone complained that you couldn't do that because the main conflict is resolved in the show, just point them at the Star Wars RPGs. There've only been three of those.)
