vids of my ships...
So, I went a little overboard.
My sister challenged me to find the perfect vid for expressing what I liked about my main ship. And... I've got quite a few of those.
Here are nine fanvids of my ships.
To start with, here is an epic vid of epicness for Crichton/Aeryn: "Between Words and Silence".
I would try to elaborate, but this vid really does say it all...
For Buffy/Faith, here's "Bruised".
They're best friends who spend most of their time beating the crap out of each other and generally trying to destroy each other's lives. But they're incredibly connected – and really are mirror images of each other.
Then we have Parker/Hardison, with "That Thing You Do".
I just love them being silly and wacky together, and enjoying each other's company.
For Mai/Zuko, here is "Firefly".
The two of them are warriors – both with their own mission and stuff to deal with. But they're great friends, and always support each other and back each other up.
And then Angel/Darla, with "Howl".
They just have so much history. Sometimes they're in love, and sometimes they hate each other – but they're always incredibly important to each other.
Had it still been online, my Buffy/Spike vid would have been "I'd Do Anything" (set to the Simple Plan song of the same name). As it is, I'm going with the two of them being quirky and fun in "Ba Ba Ba", which is the basic reason I fell for the ship in the first place.
Look at the silly couple being silly and coupley! Even when they're not a couple yet! Yay!
For Tru/Jack I'm going with "I Won't Tell Anybody".
For mortal enemies, these two sure do spend a lot of time hanging out...
I just wish the vid had included all the snarky little notes they keep leaving for each other.
Then there's Sokka/Suki, in "7 Things".
I basically just think these two are fun-and-cuteness personified. With a healthy dose of argument.
And finally...
*drumroll*
My absolute favourite of all time (or at least this week) shippy vid...
Wes/Illyria, with "Tainted Love".
And in keeping with my sister's challenge, I'm going to let this vid speak for itself.

Think I'll skip the "Tainted Love" one, though. Ever since hearing the song shortly after first watching "The God Complex", my brain insists "Tainted Love" is an Eleven/Amy song. I don't want to ruin the fragments of a nonexistent* fanvid that weave themselves through my mind whenever I listen to it.
*As far as I know.
