wisdom from the Watcher

Yet more proof that Rupert Giles is one of the wisest people in the world:

The more I think about this quote, the more I love it.

It's one of my favourite quotes, too - I've even made a collage about the quote and how its is made even more poignant by what happens in S6.

This is the quote through which I see much of the show - the heroes sometimes aren't heroic, and grand gestures are made by the ones you least expect to go in for heroics to begin with.
