Is anyone interested in a Buffyverse remix ficathon?


Since the Remix doesn't appear to be happening this year, I'm missing my remix-ness. That one was huge, though, so I can see why no-one wants to take it over.

So – if we held a smaller remix, of Buffyverse fics, would anyone come?

Not a silly question - just one I was silly enough not to answer in advance. Sorry...

Here are my remixes. In each one of them, I've taken someone else's existing fic, and rewritten it differently.

So, a Dawn/Xander fic that used to be from Xander's POV is now from Dawn's POV. Or a short scene between Xander and Kennedy becomes a longer story about Kennedy getting to know Willow's friends. And so forth.

There used to be a yearly Remix ficathon for hundreds of people, but that's stopped. So now we need to find other ways to get our remixing on.

...huh. So, a different take or interpretation of an existing fic without outright changing the events of the existing fic. Interesting! If I'm understanding you right.

I'd be game. I've got a few fics up that I'd be interested to see people's take on, and I fancy myself good at adaptatations.
