way NOT to get on my good side:

1) Ask me to be in a church drama. (This, by itself, would be fine. It's the rest that's the problem.)

2) Don't tell me your name.

3) Drop off a script without leaving your contact details.

4) Mention that there's a rehearsal on Tuesday - don't mention WHEN.

5) Make me call people from church randomly, and repeatedly narrate these events until it triggers something in someone's memory and they tell me to contact you. Then make me dig through my paperwork until I find your phone number.

6) Schedule Tuesday's rehearsal for 3:30. (Yes, I'm free then. No, she didn't know that. By all reasonable logic, I should be at work then. And somehow, telling me the evening before that I'd have to take the afternoon off from work to make a drama rehearsal the next day seemed like a sensible plan to this woman.)

You can't just have me say yes to your hypothetical church drama, totally drop off the radar, and then suddenly reappear and assume that my schedule will fit in with yours. My life doesn't work that way.

Am I being too suspicious if I wonder if this person thinks good Christian ladies don't work outside the home?
