silly pollage

I feel the urge to do a poll.

A serious poll from me right now would go something like this:
Given that I am sick, and awake at 12:47am with no possibility of getting back to sleep even though I'm tired should I:
a) go to work tomorrow and suffer through a long day, thus demonstrating commitment to new job?
b) stay home tomorrow, and watch huge amounts of tv?
c) decide I'm way too sick to get on a plane on Friday, and give up on Adelaide trip?
d) dose myself up on all the anti-cold pills I can find, and hope the world retreats behind a fuzzy cloud of numbness?

That would be depressing. Have a silly poll, instead:

Very, very screwed.

Not at all. She's very nice, and will probably take pity on your inept villainy.
9 (45.0%)

Enjoy your lovely ransom money. You won't have long to enjoy it.

You really didn't think this through, did you?
9 (45.0%)

Run. Just run.

For tax reasons, I have to give up one of my many superpowers. The one I should STOP having is:

I did think about kidnapping Lois Lane on the grounds that Superman never kills or maims people gratuitously, but I can't remember if Lois doesn't.

Hmm, good point!

I can't remember if Lois has a good punch, either (reason #1 I'd not kidnap Katara: she defends herself very capably. Reason #2 is "it would upset Aang AND Katara" and that ends in all my villainous plans destroyed with cabbages.)

Oh, see I kidnapped Katara knowing she'd take pity on me for my being forced to marry the Firelord (she's good at defending herself, but I would be very sneaky and lure her in). My villainy is complex and sympathetic since I'm apparently living in the A:tLA 'verse.

(Yes, Deird, I finally started watching it! I'm at the beginning of Book 3. :))

Aha! That's a whole different kind of villainy, that is.

I mostly just wanted to see Ozai go up against Superman. Surely I can manipulate them into getting in a tussle, yes?

I just finished it last night and it was soooo good. SOOO GOOD. I kinda want to watch it all over again, and then read lots of Azula fanfiction. :)

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. As long as you don't inadvertantly kill yourself, kidnapping a friend of Superman's is pretty much a risk-free scenario.
