Fiddler on the Roof

Saw Fiddler on the Roof today.

Weird experience - because it was really really good, which would usually mean I'd leave the theatre raving about it for hours on end in a very excitable voice, but... it's Fiddler.

(For those not in the know: FotR is about a Jewish Russian family at the start of the 20th century. It ends with the family being kicked out of their village for being Jewish; one daughter staying in Siberia with her imprisoned husband; another being mostly disowned by her family and leaving the village for Poland, which will no doubt land her children in a concentration camp at some point in the near future; and the rest of the family being separated from their daughters and from everyone they've ever been friends with. It is emphatically not happy.)

So I was basically left really impressed and thrilled with the performance - and had nothing whatsoever to say about it. Excitable squeeing would have felt very inappropriate.

On a personal note, I am currently struggling with huge amounts of stress, and also depression. Prayer would be appreciated.
