This is really, really sweet. I love Faith going to Dawn for advice, and Dawn's response to it. and kudos for acknowledging how smart Buffy is - the show underplayed that a little and fandom underplays that a lot - but still clueless in a certain key area. the Slayer package wasn't equipped with a how-to book on relationships. *hugs Buffy*

This reminds me of a HuffPostLive interview I saw Sarah on from last month - girlfriend definitely talks with her hands. (She's not part Italian, is she? ;) )
Because Buffy woke up and saw her lying on the next pillow and smiled, so completely, like every part of her lit up from the inside the moment she saw that Faith was there.
Gorgeous. I can Sarah and Eliza in this scene as if it were a scene from the show - sunshine spilling across the sheets and everything. This sentence is so vivid - THAT smile? Yes, I can imagine even Faith losing herself in that smile.
