Another week of photos...

Here's some more pictures of pretty things.

Day 22:

This happens to me every night.

I go to bed, and a few seconds later, this little cat comes up to the top of the bed and snuggles down in my arms, making it impossible for me to move. Really problematic if I forget to do something until I'm in bed already, but sweet and lovely. :)

Day 23:

This is the view that greets me every time I get home. Sometimes one cat, sometimes the other...

Day 24:

Parliament house! I get out of the train station across the street from this building - which is where I took this picture from.

That bit with all the steps? That used to be a road, going right between two different buildings, one on each side. Eventually, they joined the two parliament buildings together with the bit in the middle with the pillars.

Day 25:

Caleb's list of words. He can read every word on that board.

Day 26:

A mantelpiece.

I went to this house for dinner, with the boyfriend's uni friends. A fun evening with chicken, pizza, and brownies.

Day 27:

These are the doors at St Paul's cathedral. I stopped in during my lunch time, and took lots of photos - so I could show you all how Aussie cathedrals are decorated. Then I decided that this photo, which doesn't show any of it, is far too pretty not to put up here.

It might also be novelty value, actually: the cathedral's been being renovated for years now, and these doors have spent most of the time being covered. I'm still not used to seeing them.

Day 28:

The mirror in my bedroom.

It was made by my grandmother, using pictures of birds and flowers cut out of a magazine, and buttons. She glued them to the mirror frame, then added paint and gloss.

I'd rather like this to end up being an heirloom...
