sick of this

So, my right ear has had no external hearing since Monday. (But lots of internal hearing to make up for it - especially when I blow my nose.)

I have been dutifully taking my antibiotics and waiting for it to get better. This has been taking a while.

Got sick of waiting this morning, and rang up my doctor friend to ask for advice. She immediately said "What antibiotics are you taking?" and upon receiving the answer... "Ah. Well, most ear infections are resistant to those antibiotics. Go get some different ones."

Now I have to make another doctor's appointment, to get some antibiotics that actually work.


*glares at the world and stabs things randomly*

wtf? I was dead asleep by then, I promise I didn't send it at 2am! Nope, phone says 6:13pm last night. Huh. Musta gotten stuck somewhere!
You could have replied later on, I was anxiously waiting to hear from you.... :-(

Yeah, my phone was being weird. At 2am, I was awakened by 5 text messages, all from different people, all sent at different times, all arriving just at the ideal time to jolt me out of a sound night's sleep. (...and for me to forget about them all the next day. Sorry.)
