re: A Song of Ice and Fire
1) Love it.
2) Really hope I can finish reading the silly thing some time in the next few decades. (700 pages per book? Who does that?)
3) No, I'm not going to watch the tv show.
4) Please don't spoil me past the end of book 2.
5) Yes, I've heard about the wedding, even though I'm trying to remain unspoiled.
6) Even if the rest of the story were not unbelievably cool, Martin would still have my undying love for being the first fantasy writer of my acquaintance to notice that dragons breathe fire and hence should not be eating their meat raw.

I honestly wondered if I was watching some sort of strange very graphic porno with vaguely-interesting fantasy stories, half the time...completely overdone. I sure hope the book is better!
