This is nicely done. Taking the original interaction with Xander, and making it one of a series of similar vignettes, works extremely well. sroni’s original drabble — while I don’t think it was intended that way — could all too easily be slotted into the category of ‘Kennedy-bashing’; your reworking of that segment preserves the flavor of what was there, and all the others go beyond it without explicitly contradicting it.

I can’t even decide which one is my favorite. I may agree with pocochina in putting Dawn’s in first place, but there’s some seriously good material in the Buffy segment, too. And making Willow (and her eyes) the bookends for everything else … yeah, that really works.

Maybe ten times as good as the original. Maybe twenty.
