Stuff I have been watching:
- Murdoch Mysteries (because Victorian-era, semi-steampunk, tongue-in-cheek murder mysteries hit all my kinks, yo)
- How I Met Your Mother (why is season 7 not on dvd yet???)
- Buffy (never gonna stop watching that one)
- Pride and Prejudice (yay!)
- The West Wing (...finally. I have been resisting that show for years, but I can resist no more)

Stuff I have been doing:
- far too much work, of the fun and edity variety
- birthday parties for sundry family members
- seeing doctors about my knee
- hunting for missing walking sticks and buying new ones
- playing really cool games on my iPad that turn out only to have existed in my dream last night... which is a pity because, as I said, they were really cool

Stuff I have been patting:
- Elf the cat, who is lovely
- Prince the cat, who is currently upset with me because I'm forcing him to stay here rather than waking up my housemate with his scritching
- Danny the dog, who lives with my parents and is my closest available canine
