I would love it so much if you did that - PARTICULARLY the female characters. When I was at uni, the Wom*n's Department put out a quiz, and one of the items was "name the two buildings on campus named after a woman." One of those buildings has since been knocked down, and more buildings named after men have since been built. No more buildings named after women have been built.
