Ah, it takes time...I went from one row per day (on a small square, no less!) to being able to do a square a day...and ended up with a nice blanky. :-)
And I can follow instructions to make little rabbits!
Try it again, and give yourself a few weeks/ months to get into it, that's how long it took me...
