I once worked in an organisation in their training team... except we weren't allowed to refer to it as 'training' because "you train dogs; you don't train people". So we were known as the "Skilling Team". It hurts just to type that. I wasted many hours trying to explain that 'skill' is a noun and you can't 'skill' someone.
