deird1It's been a busy week.
New Year's happened, with much partying, and with me continuing my tradition of getting to bed before 11.
At work, I am now proofreading. This is a long and boring processs, with occasional bouts of excitement when I discover an error - at which stage I will write a detailed ERROR REPORT, feel very proud of my brilliant proofreading skills... and then go back to feeling bored again.
We've had some extremely hot weather (40 degrees and over), which has led to me getting very little sleep. It is rather nice having sunshine, though.
This weekend, I had two birthday parties, both in parks. Both were very fun, and meant I got to catch up with people I don't see more than once a year.
And now I'm home, still needing to unpack from today's party... and feeling exhausted and watching movies instead. (Jim Carrey being serious is awesome.)
